Let me start by saying that this is by far the best ps3 fighting game that I have played so far. The actual fighting gameplay is smoother, better looking, and just better overall than the first one, its extremely easy to teach and learn. My favorite part of this whole game is that the amount of strategies that a player can use is so diverse that its not like the old fighting games where one player can expect what the other player will do. The graphics are mouth watering (expect the japanese to bring out games with this caliber of graphics), the voices are nicely done (jap dub not sure about the english one), the story is loyal (kind of) to the manga and anime (it was a bit of tear jerker for me as well). The only two negative things that I could say is that touring around the world is a bit boring and it could have have been better if they used the gameplay from the first one, that and the online gameplay is really laggy but if you have a fast (by fast I mean mbps not kbps) internet connection the your good to go.

"Better!"

This is better than the 1st. Not by much though, since both of them are pretty much awesome. It has more cinematic boss battles which is very cool. The standard combat however remain pretty much similar to the 1st one, only added Team Ultimate Jutsu and that is also one of the coolest part. Pretty simple control and nice graphic as usual. You can explore the village just like the 1st one, but it is a much more simple and easier, and personally I prefer this simple way.

"Amazing Graphics"

The first thing I thought when I first played this game was how great the graphics were. Although it doesn't match the anime's graphics it certainly comes close!

Fans of the series will love this game and won't be disappointed.

The only criticisms I have for this game is that it's very linear and there's hardly any time for “free-roaming” in ‘Ultimate Adventure’ mode. Granted this is a fighting game first and foremost it'd be exciting to see where they could take a JRPG/MMO approach to the world of Naruto.

Loading times was also a minor issue. I often found myself repeating the same fights in “Free Battle” mode to save myself from slow loading screens.

It doesn't harm the game in anyway but I would like to see these improved when Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 is released. :D

For those of you who are hesitant to buy this game but needed that extra push to purchase this then here it is;

Add it to your trolley! You won't regret it. :]

What a brilliant game. From the start to finish it is just so difficult to put the controller down. Excellent for a quick game against friends to with so many combinations possible and so many characters to choose from. FINALLY get to play as Killer bee and the Fourth Hokage!! Amazing graphics and amazing gameplay. MUST BUY for Naruto fans!

"Terrible game for a good franchise"
2 stars"

This game was a big let down for me, being a fan of the manga, the story loosely follows the plot of the manga & anime but has a whole load of horrible fillers and is very vague to that of the original story. Partly good with it being a visually good looking game and great voice's when in Japanese. The boss battles are the only good aspect of this game being fun and interactive, but the game focuses predominantly on a simple button bashing fighting system to achieve the combos, it also has a very poor free roaming environment which is very boring as a great deal of the game consists of this free roaming.

This game unfortunately was a waste of my time and money, I will be sticking to my Naruto books from now on, but I'm sure many die-hard fans will disagree on what I've said, so perhaps if you are a die-hard fan you may love this game, but for me it felt rushed and did not do the story of the manga any justice.

"Great Story Line"

The story line is true to the series which is fun. However when fighting it is really annoying when you can't substitute away from the person like in generations.

An amazing sequel to the Ninja Storm. This game begins at the beginning of Shippuden and ends at the end of the Pain arc. The main story is excellent involving all your favourite characters. The boss battles are done very well with a combination of quicktime events and special tactic fights. There are a tonne of characters to unlock from the Fourth Hokage to Killer Bee.

Completing the story line is only half the fun. After the completion many side quests are unlocked which involve performing friend quests and unlocking their support characters. There are also a few very challenging fights which will test really test your skills.

This game is lots of fun and if you're a dedicated Naruto fan this game will not disappoint.
