JODY BERGER is a freelance journalist and communications consultant. A former reporter for ESPN Magazine, she has contributed to Self, Harper's Bazaar, and others. As a reporter for the Rocky Mountain News, she profiled basketball legend Bobby Knight. She is pursuing a degree in holistic health at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and lives in Denver.
