Author Biography
James Robertson began writing entertainment features for The Independent in the early 90's, by the mid-90s he had founded a monthly clubbing publication - Club On, a bi-annual directory - The UK Club Guide. In 1997 he published the Promoters Handbook, which became The Music Industry Manual (MIM) a year later. In 2006, MIM sold over 25,000 copies internationally making it the world's leading music directory. He recently edited the seminal book "How to DVJ - A Digital DJ Masterclass" and has bought DJ Magazine from Future Publishing. James Robertson, has recently qualified as a non-practicing barrister and spent a stint as Head of Legal Affairs at an NHS Trust. He can talk with authority on issues such as Consent to Treatment, Clinical Negligence, Losing it in Space (Ibiza) and Running a nightclub in Falaraki.
