Microwave Egg Poacher reviews

I only recently discovered microwaved poached eggs – my favourite type of eggs – and have been using a small dish that makes them odd shaped. This is perfect for me – didn't know they existed and will be my new favourite kitchen gadget.

My previous egg boiler packed up and wore out. Could not find a suitable replacement. Your egg poacher is an excellent alternative – very simple and effective!

It’s a bit fiddly- but that’s the nature of egg poaching, microwave or not. Would be better if cups non stick, but still quite convenient.

This product is fine, but the package didn't come with a microwave safe bowl to sit it in.

I was trying to make my life easier by buying this to poach eggs. I'm yet to master it in the pot, but it turns out I can't master it when this product does all the hard work either lol. The box says they cook in two minutes, but mine were still raw at that point. By minute six I believe I had done something wrong as they were raw in the middle, yet bounced and hit the ground when I took them out of the microwave. I think I'll stick to panfrying! The product itself is convenient and placed in the hands of a capable cook, I'm sure it'll work a treat!
