Description

Meg Banana loves a good mystery, so much so that she has founded the Littletown Secret Investigators Club, of which she is President and sole member. Nothing very exciting ever happens in Littletown - until now. For the last three days, a black umbrella has been following Meg to school, then hanging in a tree outside her bedroom at night, moaning. Meg knows it is time to investigate. Led by her new friend, Meg discovers that exotic plants are being smuggled into the country, turned into umbrellas and sold to exclusive clients. Although she tries to get help from her family, no one believes in a moaning umbrella! There is only one thing Meg can do, and that is to take charge. But while she returns to the scene of the crime to do some more snooping, one of the men heading the illegal operation catches her and holds her prisoner. Now Meg is really in trouble...
