Author Biography:

David Green is a clinical psychologist who has workedtherapeutically for more than 30 years with young people and theirfamilies. From 1988 to 2010 he was Clinical Director of the Doctorof Clinical Psychology programme at the University of Leeds. He hasbeen particularly interested in the role clinical supervision playsin the education of healthcare professionals. Gary Latchford is a clinical psychologist working inphysical health, based at the department of Clinical and HealthPsychology at St James?s Hospital in Leeds. Since 1996 he has alsobeen research director for the Doctor of Clinical Psychologyprogramme at the University of Leeds. His clinical andresearch interests are mostly around psychological interventions inmedical settings, and he has published several papers and bookchapters on this topic.
