Mass Effect 3 Collector's Edition previews

For diehard Mass Effect fans, this is the version to get! You get almost all of the release day content:

• From Ashes (1 squadmate, 1 mission, 1 weapon, 6 squadmate outfits)
• M-55 Argus (assault rifle)
• N7 Arsenal pack (1 SMG, 1 shotgun, 1 sniper rifle, 1 pistol)
• N7 hoodie (casual outfit)
• N7 warfare gear (1 assault rifle, 1 armour set – in the US, this is the Gamestop preorder bonus, which as far as I can tell is not available at other NZ retailers)
• Robotic Dog (Normandy companion)
• Squad Appearance Pack (4 squad member outfits)

You're only really missing out on the AT-12 Raider shotgun which is an EA Origin exclusive. The other two items – the Collector Assault Rifle and Battlefield 3 Kit are multiplayer items and are more difficult to get your hands on.

Can't wait!

ME1 was good, ME2 was and is Awesome, ME3 will be Epic beyond proportion.

All DLC's are great, with the Latest being the Arrival DLC pack kinda puts you at the edge of your seat, waiting impatiently for the next game.

I got chills watching the new teaser trailers up at the official Mass Effect site. ME1 was good, ME2 was epic…I think ME3 will blow our minds.

Just under 10 months to go before this is released. This gives time to play though ME1 and ME2 again. According to Bioware the DLC's for ME2, The Arrival is a big lead in to ME3. I haven't played or purchased that one, but just might have to get it.

Here's hoping DLC prices come down towards the end of 2011. Hopefully Bioware will try to generate more buxz by offering deals.

Requires the use of EA's ORIGIN store client. Previous versions have been caught scanning directories not related to ORIGIN based games, and people have lost access to purchased games for being banned in EA forums

When I first played ME1 I was blown away by how much you can do, and been so amped since I saw some play of it at E3 just cant wait till all the choices you have made in the first 2 impact the 3rd

This is definitely looking like it will be one of, if not the most anticipated game for me of 2012. Played through the first and second one to many times to count. I can not wait to see how all my decisions in the previous games effects the outcome of this one.

As mentioned earlier, Mass Effect 3 is not available through Steam any more, and now requires players to sign up to the Origin Game system, which in truth is just a more primitive version of Steam.

The Demo gives players access to the First Mission in Mass Effect 3, Setting the stage for the game to come, and access to a later mission at Player Level 12, allowing players to customise talents and abilities. The demo also contains some Multiplayer gaming, which is now active.

Returning characters in the Demo include Anderson, Mordin, Wrex, Liara, Garrus, and Ashley/Kaiden.

Beautiful graphics, smooth gameplay, more movement actions (forwards and sideways rolls to move from cover to cover), more options during ability customisation, greatly improved weapon sound and handling, and the welcome return of weapon upgrades make this a Game and Demo not to be missed !

It's about how much my Mass Effect 2 Collectors edition contained! Hope the price is a guess-
