This is the story of seven friends: Manford, the moose; Veronica, the bear; Golly, the golden eagle; Flossie, the pink flamingo; Princess Columbine, the monarch butterfly; Needlenose, the porcupine; and, Ssam, the garter snake. These characters go adventuring in mountains, forests, rivers, and even the big city exploring the world and discovering its secrets. They work, play, and learn together; winning the day by relentlessly solving whatever puzzles or problems lie in store. Manford and his friends are upbeat, positive, and funny. They portray strong personal values, showing how friendship, persistence, self-reliance, and teamwork lead to success.
