"Ok if your TV and Amp are close!"
3 stars"
Purchased on Mighty Ape

The image quality is ok, but not stunning. I haven't seen the official Nintendo cable so I don't know if it's better or worse than that one.

I do have a major gripe, and that is that the audio and video connectors are too close to each other. If your video cables need to connect to your TV and your audio needs to go into your amp, they have to be within about 15 cm of each other, otherwise you'll need extension cables. Lame.

I see the Nintendo cable has the same problem.

"Cheap but efficent Cable"

the cables work. The downside is that in an effort to make the back of your entertainment center more clutter free, they bundle all the cables into one solid cable. Now this would normally be great; the bummer is that they don't split out all the cables until the last 5", this means that if on your receiver (like mine) if your audio inputs are not right next to the video inputs, you may have a problem. They should have left at least the last 8" of cable separated.

"Useful if your tv only has one composite input"

Worth having, if only to free up the aging composite inputs on your tv.

"Great to have"

Component cable enhances the graphics more. Played Super Mario Galaxy and others; and enjoyed the enhanced graphics. Though don't expect too much difference from the stock cable :P

"Cable gives good picture improvement."

I wasn't really sure how much of a difference the component inputs would make, but it was well worth the change. I spent a long time not getting around to buying a component cable, and now regret waiting.

Despite my TV being nothing particularly special, the Wii picture is significantly sharper and brighter than it was using the original composite cable.
