I bought this especially for co-op playing with my husband and it's great for that. I've tried it single player and it's not as much fun that way. Be aware there is a problem with saving co-op games; you need to make sure that you change which player is hosting the game each time, this seems to fix the problem and lets both players level and keep all their gear. Other than that it's a good RPG, tough fights but doable, good character interactions and it's nice to see what was happening aside from what Frodo was doing while Sauron was trying to take over Middle Earth

Fun, not much replay-ability, but great hack and slash. Hard mde is actually difficult

I have just finished this game and I had heaps of fun. There was so much to do. Every level can be played three times, once with each character, and there are many secret items that only one of the characters can find so I played every level three times. If you do this you will be extra ready to fight the hardest battles at the end of the game. There are also some extra levels that are very tricky but if you can't pass them you can still finish the game.

As long as you forget about an open world middle earth with hundreds of quests and thousands of square miles to go around, as far as you don't compare War in the North with the titan that Skyrim is. This hack n' slash lord of the rings is an all rounded game.

With some RPG elements that make the game a must have for fans of the fantasy setting that JRR Tolkien created. Enemies feel solid, making every kill having you believe that you really keep Sauron distracted from the ring carrier and hold a complete another army from the north to wage war to the free people.

Eagles deserve their own game now, no spoilers!!!.
