Logitech G733 LIGHTSPEED Wireless RGB Gaming Headset - Black reviews

My son has had many expensive headsets including an Arctis 9× and said he prefers this headset, nice clear sound, great battery life and range – he can still talk / hear when down stairs and on the other side of the house. Would recommend.

I've had these for about a week now, been using them daily for online uni classes and gaming and they've been fantastic. The setup was super easy (literally plug the USB in and press the power button and it works) and the connection is great, the sound quality is better than my previous wired headsets and I love having the ability to walk around my house wearing them! I can even move from my computer downstairs to my bedroom without any issues! The sizing seems quite good, My boyfriend who has a big head tried them on and we were worried they wouldn't fit me since my head is quite small comparatively, but they fit fine! I''ve got a few logitech products, a keyboard and mouse ive had for about 4 years and both are in pristine condition, although the construction of this headset seems to be of a more lightweight material I think this will last the test of time like the other logitech products I have, and I think if the headset was much heavier it would be uncomfortable.

All in all, I love this headset and I'd suggest it to anyone in the market for a new headset, my previous headsets have been from Hyper-X and Razer and this headset blows both those brands out of the water.

I purchased this headset with the thought that it'll be a great headset to have alongside my gaming microphone which is on an extendable arm. Great thinking I have. Amazing sound, excellent packaging and is took TWO days to arrive! Im in the country, not a town or city folk…this is extraordinary! However, I do have one flaw. It the cushioning on the headset. I have big ears, they stick out quiet a bit so the ridges are pressing on the speaker itself slightly. Its not major, but after a while, it gets uncomfortable. Overall, great product 4 out of 5 :D

I've been using this product continuously for two years now.

• The battery life is amazing (lasts all day at a reasonable volume).
• The sound quality is excellent for the price point.
• The wireless doesn't cut out like earlier models of these Logitec headsets, even when sitting next to the WiFi router.
• The mic is reasonable quality for VoIP calls, Discord etc.
• The RGB lighting is a complete waste of battery, and I leave it turned off.
• The built material is very light and flimsy plastic, and they feel very cheap. As of yet, nothing as broken on my headset, it's more of a “feel” issue for me.
• The ear cups so far have held up, where previous versions of Logitec headphones I've owned would've started disintegrating by now.
• The charge cable is a good length and has data lines in it, so it can be used to connect other USB-C devices while you're not charging headphones.
• The software is garbage, still, after 10 years of me using various Logitec wireless headphones. After an update it will often cause the volume knob to stop responding, requiring a full system reboot to correct.

Which brings me to the volume knob:

• It's crap. Total crap. It wasn't long before it became impossible to control my volume with it, with volume now randomly jumping up and down when I try to adjust it via the built-in volume control knob. Maybe I have dirt in the rotary encoder within the headphones? I'll never know, because I can not dismantle the headphones easily without probably breaking them. While this doesn't render the product completely useless, it does annoy me quite a bit that I must use Windows sound control to adjust volume now. Also, the positioning of the volume knob thingy makes it impossible to lay on your bed and listen to music without the volume randomly adjusting its self.

Overall, great product. Just a few minor things that bug me. I use them for many hour a day, and so far after two years they've held up to the abuse.

I think the Logitech G733 is a good choices for gamers, sounds really good and you can also take off the mic if you want to which I thought was really cool. Theses a button on the headset that can tell you the battery which is really nice and the lights on the headset is a cool edition as well. I'm really happy with the headset and happy to know it will last a long time because of the quality :)

The G733 is aesthetically pleasing to the eye, the build quality is outstanding and the RGB lights bring it to life. I’ve been using it with my PS5 and despite not having the advantage of fine-tuning the more advance settings like on PC, it’s more than adequate straight out of the box for all your gaming needs. Exactly what I wanted.

My trusty G35 finally broke down and after some lengthy research, I opted for the 733 as its replacement. The G35 still has the superior sound imho, the 733 sounds slightly more muffled in comparison, but with the surround sound on the 733 sounds fine. It does a decent job.

My big issue with my pair at least – and I understand this doesn't happen with all 733's, but from searching for a fix I know I'm far from the only one – is there's a high pitched variable whine that accompanies the RGB lighting. You can disable the lighting to stop the whining, but it always finds a way to randomly turn back on. I'm constantly having to restart the headset for it to remember I want the lights off, and sometimes it'll straight up ignore my settings and turn the lights back on when I go back into a game. It's like fluctuating tinnitus underlying whatever you're trying to listen to, and it's mighty distracting.

Daily usage for the past couple of weeks, no complaints so far. Sleek design, great sound and mic quality.

Actually a great headset the play time is huge audio quality is great and seems to have none of Logitech's usual software bugs

Yes, the bass was very disappointing. Music sounds terrible with it in my opinion. I am used to the G933 impressive bass and will continue to use the G933 instead of the G733.

This headset looks awesome but unfortunately it DOES NOT WORK WITH XBOX. It is only compatible with PlayStation and PC’s – a bit of information I wasn’t aware of until opening them and trying to use them and then further looking online to see what was up and finding heaps of people saying it is incompatible with Xbox. Mighty Ape wont let me return due to opening them. 0/10

The surround sound doesn't because my computer recognizes it as a speaker.

I've tried a few headsets before and between the faulty one, the one with an extra volume wheel (for a feature I never wanted), and the prices for the decent ones being out of my range, I was quite frustrated. These have been perfect. Ear cups really comfortable and because it's larger than my ear it doesn't smush my earrings, band is also really comfortable. Wireless range could be a little better as I turn into a robot whenever I go into my kitchen, but that's to be expected somewhat due to the number of walls, etc. Mic seems clear (I've had no complaints). An added bonus is the RGB (which can be turned off in the Logitech app if this isn't your preference) which changes red when mute and green when you unmute, you can only really see it if you have good enough peripheral vision though. TL:DR: Well worth the money spent.

These do not function without the dongle, they are not bluetooth they cannot be used with out the very generic looking usb dongle which seems to be impossible to replace

My headset just went from 99% to 80% in a minute you would think for a nearly $300 headset it would be good also the mic quality is no great at all if ur going for a expensive headset I dont recommend this one go for something else

I am very pleased with my purchase. Sturdy materials & Comfortable padding, Which is good for long hours of usage. The headsets input audio quality is nice and crisp. Long distance blue-tooth for when you want to get up and walk away from your desk. The battery life lasts for around 40 hours and only takes 4 hours to charge back up. The microphone isn't AMAZING… But I'm still happy with it. Logitech has a G-HUB application you can install onto your pc to adjust settings such as the output/input of your audio and RGB lighting as well. I find this helped with the microphone quality.

I would definitely recommend this headset for the price.

The headset is too tight on my head and the detachable mic is a bad gimmick, if you want to start talking to someone you have to plug in the mic which is hard to do while wearing the headphones, or you can leave it always plugged in and have the mic always sticking out, a fold up mic is much better. Also I will never understand why anyone would want lights on a headset

Does everything I needed it to do. I adjusted some of the Bass tones myself in the Logitech app and my favorite music sounds really nice.

Sound quality is great, very comfy to wear for hours. Occasionally the Right ear will stop working or be VERY low output – requires a driver re-install – seems to be a regular issue with the particular model of ears.

Good audio quality and there's practically no difference in latency between wired and these set, pretty good battery life and surprisingly good customization on PC. Only down side is the earmuffs parts don't stretch down too far and can feel a tad small as a result. Overall great bang for ya buck

Super lightweight wireless headset that does what you want it to do. The bass isn't as bad as what other people have said on some other reviews, once you use logitech g-hub, everything sounds good. Only grouch I have with this product is I can't seem to stop distortion from my end of the microphone. However, no one else notices this. Good product for the price
