I bought this product as I have the original software and thought this one would be a good update. It has its good points like using a flash card system, being able to test yourself on words and making lists on other subjects and languages. What I didn't like on it was it didn't teach any Hiragana, which the previous software did and the sounds didn't work, which isn't good if you want to hear the way the words sound. So it's really a mixed bag. It's good, but not great.
