Understanding spoken Spanish is one of the most difficult challenges that the new Spanish-language learner faces. Since there wasn't a book or product on the market specifically designed to help the neophyte learner with listening comprehension in Spanish, I decided to create one. Although I have lived in Medellin, Colombia since 2008, this book is not a book which only covers "Colombian" conversational Spanish. With the assistance of Spanish teachers from many different Spanish speaking countries, I was able to incorporate conversational Spanish from various Spanish-speaking countries, and not just Colombia.
