Test the product with volumetric test-solution of potassium hydroxide to determine its strength and then dilute as required. Properties. A solution composed of 36 per cent of hydrogen acetate and 64 per cent of water. A clear, colorless liquid, of a distinctly vinegar-like Odor, a purely acid taste, and a strongly acid reaction. Sp.
