I bought this when I decided to give my 2nd gen Paperwhite to my Dad, and I love it. It's so small and light and compact, the perfect take anywhere ereader. I know bigger is all the rage, but if you want an ereader that fits in pretty much ANY pocket, this is the one. Plus the ecosystem is MUCH less restrictive than Amazon's

Bought this for Overdrive and the open ecosystem compared to the Kindle Paperwhite. After a week or so of use, I am really impressed with the refinements compared to the Kindle. It is a better device in every way, save for no access to the excellent Amazon library. I feel however this is overcome by the Overdrive/public library integration and ease of drag and dropping non-DRM ebooks.

The reading experience is also improved with better utilisation of the screen space and other features. For example, adjusting margins and text is much more granular, with more options compared to Kindle. The amber nightlight is also a huge improvement over the blinding Paperwhite, especially with brightness easily adjustable from the left edge of the screen with a simple up/down swipe. All this in a package that is a bit lighter and smaller (with the same screen size however) than the Kindle. Pretty happy with the purchase and recommended.

Love the eReader it is exactly as I expected.
