Kinetic Sand - 2.5kg reviews

Our preschool has used this product for the first time this year. The children absolutely love it and so do the teachers! It is a great tactile and sensory play activity that is also very calming. We will continue buying it when we need more :) Mighty Ape has the best price that I've found so far.

I bought the 2.5 kg bag of sand and divided it into two tins – one for my 7 year old grandson, and one for my 10 year old granddaughter. When each child was asked to name the top three gifts they got for Christmas BOTH of them had Kinetic Sand as #2. They have made all sorts of things with it. Also, every adult who has come to visit wants to play with it – really great stuff.

Keep young and old quiet for hours!

This product is quite magical to use and handle. Especially brilliant in maths when discussing fractions – so easy to ‘make a pie’ and then divide it up. Seems to appeal to ALL ages.

I have a bowl of this amazing sand on my desk and I love it! Great for stress relief :-)

It's so relaxing. It moves so nicely through your fingers !! and since I got so much in this one box, I shared some with my friends and they love it!

Although I have not touched it myself, my grand-girls love it. So does their mum.

Awesome. This was a great amount for my 6 yo and 3 yo – they really enjoyed playing with it on a tray on the coffee table (with a plastic sheet underneath to get the wee spillages, which could just go back in the pile).

I gave this to a nephew but I couldn't stop playing with it, interesting stuff!! Loved it!

Fun to play with! My kid loves the stuff and because it sticks to itself its a breeze to clean when she is finished.

This was bought for my 10 yr old grandson's birthday and is a great hit with him. Fascinating tactile experience. It's a pity the tray doesn't come with a lid for storage purposes.
