Kaleido Star is one of those awesome and never heard of anime series (probably because it belongs in the shoujo genre). However, the animation is top-notch, the voice acting is superb and the storyline is great. If you would like to try something different, something that's serious and humourous at the same time, Kaleido Star is one of your best bet. On a side note, season two is a bit more serious than season one.
