The more I read this book, the harder I found to put it down. Marcus and Honoria have known each other since childhood, when Honoria's brother brought Marcus home from school with him and the lonely Marcus was welcomed in to the family. I love the snapshot of those early years we get right at the beginning of the book. Later on in life, an unfortunate (but hilarious!) accident brings the two back together and some proximity and time away from the Ton allows them to fall for each other. Honoria is outgoing and what-you-see-is-what-you-get. Marcus is shy and rather lonely, but puts on a stern face, for heaven forbid anyone should think him shy! A must read. Sweet, with some humour. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
