Avera, alternate, was present and substituted for E. T. White, from the Raleigh District; W. J. Hale, alter nate from the New Bern District, was substituted for R. A. Whitaker; D. B. Zollicoffer and W. E. Spivey, alternates from the Warrenton District, were substituted for W. A. Ellison and Dr. M. Bolton. On motion it was ordered that the calling of the roll of the Conference be dispensed with for the remainder of this ses sion of the Conference.
