Prayer is offered by Dr. S. L. Stealey, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Raleigh, North Carolina. The roll is called and the following members-elect answer to their-names and appear with the proper certificates of election and take and subscribe to the following prescribed oath of office, which is administered by Associate Justice A.
