Brian Speed is from Sheffield in the UK and has spent his career in education. He was a secondary school maths teacher for 20 years, and a maths test developer and has also been an online marking and education consultant. He has been a Methodist local preacher for over 40 years and is a big family man; he is married with four children and two step children as well as currently having eight grandchildren. His favourite activities include sports, bridge and going to the theatre.
