Description

Writer Joe Kelly and artist Doug Mahnke continue to stretch the boundaries of super-hero comics with their run with JLA Volume 7. Now the JLA must make the gut-wrenching decision: to maintain neutrality in a galactic conflict or to interfere in foreign politics by conducting a preemptive strike of its own. Collects JLA #77-83.

Author Biography:

JOE KELLY broke into the comics industry in 1995 as the first successful "graduate" of the STAN-HATTAN PROJECT, a writing workshop conducted as a joint venture between MARVEL COMICS and NEW YORK UNIVERSITY'S Department of Dramatic Writing. Joe's flair for dialogue and characterization captured the attention of Marvel editors, not to mention his snappy attire and icy blue eyes that pierce a man's soul with but a glance. Kelly's comics work includes DEADPOOL, JUSTICE LEAGUE ELITE, ACTION COMICS, STEAMPUNK and many other titles. His story "What's So Funny About Truth, Justice and The American Way?" inspired the Warner Bros. Home Video movie "Superman Vs. The Elite." He is a member of the group Man of Action, which created the hit animated TV series Ben 10.
