Jesus is eternal life. What is the tree of life? In this book we consider and explore particular scriptures to further understand the Bible and His word. What was the fruit in the garden; was it actual fruit, or the act of disobedience? Is the Word literal, metaphorical, or both? Jesus spoke in parables. He replied, "The knowledge of the mysteries of the kingdom of God has been given to you, but to others I speak in parables, so that, 'though seeing, they may not see; though hearing, they may not understand'" (Luke 8:10). He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6).
