A great game for the family to enjoy, and we spent hours playing it!

Jak and daxter is a great game with many different types of enemys, vehicles and surroundings. The graphics are extremely detailed and because of this the maps each give off a certain mood. Misty island gives off a scary and mysterious mood while the sandy beaches and villages are peaceful and comforting. A very interesting and fun part of the game is the different eco you can collect. Each different eco gives jack a special ability for a limited time. Another very good part of the game is the story line which is well crafted and takes unexpected turns. in conclusion i think jak and daxter is a fantastic game with many hours of great fun.

Naughty Dog produced an almost perfect game when they released Jak and Daxter on the PS2. Although the game has now been somewhat eclipsed by its followup, Jak 2, it still remains the best “pure” platformer on the PS2.
