Author Biography:

A. Ezzati was born in Iran in 1932. He studied at the universities of London and Tehran, where he later became professor of Islamic studies. He has also held teaching positions at several centres of Islamic studies in the UK and the USA. His writings have been translated into Arabic, Turkish, Hausa, Spanish and Persian.
