A "how to" for authors and others wishing to convert manuscripts into laid-out and fully designed computer files suitable for print-on-demand and/or E-Book presentation. The method suggest how to use either the most common, and/or the least expensive computer programs to do the job, this with a minimum of PC-based compouter equipment. It also provides a practical guide to POD, and discusses this approach to publishing's possible future. The emphasis is on simplicity, and on low cost book preparation requiring the least amount of computer knowledge.
