This is a fantastic book, it covers pre-conception, pregnancy and the first few months of baby's life. Written with humor, but packed with facts and advice and also loads of mum's pieces of wisdom, this book is a great book to have as a pregnant woman. A lot like Up The Duff, but more facts and more real life stories rather then just one woman's perspective. Highly recommended!

This book helped me survive pregnancy and the weeks afterwards with a new baby. A great mix of practical and expert advice, humour, and personal stories. If I was to recommend one preggo book to a friend it'd be this one.
I really enjoyed this book when I was pregnant, such an easy read with great info and humour.
I'm an older mum. Got pregnant at 40. So found I wasn't interested in reading the bools that explain very delicately all about pregnancy and the changes we go through. This book is hilarious yet still informative and gets to the point. Bought a copy for a friend too. She also loved it!
I LOVED this book. It had me giggling because I could relate! Being pregnant can be a rollercoaster of emotions and this book is informative while also able to provide light relief. It was great to read another mama-to-be's journey while going through mine. Highly recommend.
I love this book and recommend it to all newly pregnant women (and their partners can learn a lot too!). It gives a great overview of what is going on week-by-week, along with amusing diary entries by Jacquie and advice from NZ professionals. I couldn't wait to reach each week's milestone so that I could read another section!
From preconception to after birth, everything you need to know from both what's going on inside you to how you'll be feeling. Information from both the comedian author, mums like you and doctors.
