"Hack and Slash"
5 stars"
Purchased on Mighty Ape

Good game for anyone who enjoys hack and slash games such as God of War, Dante's Inferno, Darksiders, Castlevania or Bayonetta.

Talents trees are a little over simplified and the main storyline is fairly short but gameplay is extended with Crucible mode (think trials of St. Lucia in Dantes Inferno) with fan and developer made arenas. The main story has 2 different endings aswell.

You have the choice to play as a hunter and warrior. AI is very good (if your playing as the hunter and getting beat on your warrior partner will come and save you) But the game really shines if you have a buddy to play with you.

Lots of hidden areas and classic Resident Evil style puzzles to keep you busy throughout the storyline. Also the voice acting is some of the best I've heard and can be quite funny.

Happy hunting gamers.

"Worth Buying It On Special... Nothing More."

Your first hour in the desperately dark world of Hunted: The Demon's Forge is not going to be a pleasant one. The preface-free introduction doesn't exactly instill a sense of literary excellence. The characters presented could generously be described as “grating.” Combat is limited to a fairly uninspired mix of plain ol' shooting and plain ol' stabbing. There's a troubling realization that the game contains items, but no inventory, which everyone should be able to agree is absolute madness. Without a compelling narrative to pull you along, it's really a toss-up as to whether the game's rewarding sense of progression and thoughtful cooperative combat is going to be enough to bring you to the end of its 14-or-so-hour campaign. The odds of you replaying through the game in Adventure+ mode or dabbling in the arena-building Crucible mode are slimmer still.

"awesome!"

this is a very entertaining game easier in single player mode. The weapons are cool especially the magic weapons. The challenges a very good and the bad guys can be a little had to kill if you don't have the right weapons.all in all a great game for the price I paid for it.

"Green Porridge anyone-"
2 stars"
Purchased on Mighty Ape

this game uses the Unreal Engine and in the PS3's case the name is fitting. I'm told they look fine on PC but greens just look like porridge on PS3. I noticed it in Enslaved as well, which uses that engine…green porridge…

"Fun co op with magic, bows and swords"
3 stars"

Hunted the Demon's Forge is great to play in splitscreen with a friend as well as single player. Both characters can attack enemies using either a melee weapon or by using a ranged attack with a bow. Gameplay takes a bit of getting used to at first but you eventually get the hang of it. E'lara and Caddoc can use magic spells in battle and heal themselves by using health potions. I brought this game to play for the splitscreen. There are better Co op games out there but Hunted is still worth playing.
