Hostess Twinkies (10 Pack) reviews

Whether plain or the Banana ones, these are marvelous. They don't seem to age and haven't struck a stale one at any stage. These are a marvelous treat, or being individually wrapped good as a lunch box item. Will be back for more of both the plain and the flavoured as brilliant. Highly recommend.

They were what I expected – wee sponge rolls filled with fake cream, very very yummy.

I have seen Twinkies in movies many times and I always wondered what all the fuss was about so when I found these on Mighty Ape I had to try them. They are better than I ever thought they would be and I am now a big fan. They are so soft and creamy and just really yummy. Go and get some NOW!

These are insane I didnt expect it me and my boyfriend enjoyed. All I have to say is I LOVE these twinkies and I got an even bigger twinkie later on ;)

Sure they're spongy and creamy but really they should taste way nicer than this. Everyone needs to try them though to see what the fuss is about.

And I regret buying 2 boxes.. I've always seen these eaten in movies and TV shows, and then the 5 star glowing reviews pushed me to buy not 1 but 2 boxes and now I'm thinking why did I do that- I don't find anything wrong with super sweet stuff but this has an aftertaste that prevents me from eating more than 2 max. I think I prefer our local supermarket's baked goods compared to this..

Reliable, moreish little cake snacks. Great to have a pack of ten. 1.60 per item isn't bad for an import.

Used to eat these when I was a kid, but for some reason they disappeared off NZ shelves… On Christmas day, saw these online and thought I'd order one (or a few boxes) and they're definitely exactly as I remember them. Super sweet and a yummy treat but I think they precisely should be that – A treat. As delicious as they are, I can't imagine they're great for the waistline or teeth :) I guess I'm saying enjoy these wonderful sponges in moderation.

I saw these in the movies since I was a kid and always wondered what they taste like and so glad I found this here with a really good price. They are delicious and sweet. Although I imagined it to be more fluffy than it is but still good and the cream filling is so yummy. I also tried putting it in the fridge and ate it cold.

I bought these because I succumbed to Mighty Ape's advertising, I guess there is a first time for everything. The kids and I are trying out things we see on telly so these were on the list since ‘Zombieland’. I would have liked to have taken a picture of my kids enjoying them but I was not fast enough, in the time it took me to open one the rest were gone (I only have three kids). So to sum it up; 1 minute to purchase, 1 day to arrive, 1 minute to disappear.

These little cakes are really tasty and individually wrapped so they won't go dry when packet opened. Don't eat to many at once though cause they are super sweat.

They are delicious, you can't stop until you eat them all.

Very nice and you won't be disappointed unless you're not into sweet stuff

The hostess twinkies are worth trying ..not for everyone taste wise. Enjoyable not awesome but enjoyable

Never had a Twinkie before so had to try one and now I have i'm loving the flavour.

There's no doubt about it – Twinkies are delicious. A very sweet treat. Just don't tell your dentist.

Sugar enriched flour, partially hydrogenated vegetable oil, polysorbate-60, and yellow dye no. 5. Just everything a growing boy needs!

Twinkies – what else needs to be said!

I gave two Hostess Twinkies and two Ding Dongs to my neighbor couple – the'd seen these in American movies, but never tasted them. A++

Very tasty but per usual for American treats that is always slightly too sweet. However it tastes good if you eat it separately. The cream is definitely vegetable based oil so for those that dislike artificial cream then this might not be the thing for you.

I hadn't had these since my childhood. And they are just as amazing as they were back then. A yummy treat!

As seen on so many 80s TV shows and movies, the Twinkie is worth a try! Definitely not fine food but confectionery and a nice treat if you've always wanted to try them.

You either like them or you don't.
