Hitman Absolution Professional Edition reviews

I've fully played through this game 3 times now and even replayed certain levels many more times to either increase my score or unlock achievements and challenges. I could never get sick of this game as there are so many ways to go about completing all of the missions. You can make the deaths of your targets look like complete accidents, snipe them from afar, go full on rambo mode and destroy everything, or even turn certain characters against each other and let them do the work for you. Also, the “Contracts” online game mode is very simple, yet very enjoyable, and does NOT require Xbox Live GOLD to play! All available contracts are possible to complete as the creator needs to perform the specific challenges themselves before they upload it for others to play. The DLC weapons that come with this edition are extremely helpful in Contracts mode too, and make it so much more enjoyable. The hardcover art book is an excellent souvenir if you're a fan of the Hitman series and contains some amazing concept art plus more. The behind-the-scenes DVD is super interesting to watch and I guarantee that any fan of the Hitman series will really enjoy watching it. Hitman Absolution: Professional Edition is always sold at very low prices during MightyApe's gaming sales and I would seriously reccomend this edition to everyone, as it doesn't cost much more than the standard version and is absolutely worth it for the bonus content.

Son enjoys playing this but he needs to learn to be a bit more sneaky or may be I am a jinx he always seems to die just as I come into the room to see how the game is going :)

This is one of my favorite games.

There is loads of ways to kill each target, and also a larger number of levels than the previous game (Blood Money).

Certain weapons can be upgraded (though for use in other modes, not in the main campaign) and there is evidence to collect in each level that will increase you rating, and get you a trophy / achievement.

For those who haven't played a Hitman game before, this is definitely the one to start with, as it is alot easier to play if things get out of control an guards everywhere are trying to kill you.

Stealth is still most definitely the main focus, but it is possible to play it as a shooter if things turn bad :)

I only have 1 complaint, being that the number of weapons that can be upgraded is quite limited, though if you get the DLC items there is a huge amount of weaponry to choose from, so it's not so bad.

Overall ,one of the best games you will ever play. 97/100
