Following the defeat of Eidolon, Thyrion enjoys a time of peace until an unexplained winter comes upon the lands. A new continent controlled by a great wizard, Praevus, appears to be connected with the phenomena. Each of the four Hexen II characters is motivated to do battle with this new evil which threatens their home.

Players will meet four new enemies, all are inhabitants of the new continent. This new continent will be an ancient land encased in perpetual winter. The icy landscape will offer the player a host of new puzzle types, difficult terrain and hostile inhabitants.
