Love this – the music is great and John Travolta is awesome!!

There is something in it for everyone! Plus you get to see John Travolta in a dress!!

My 11 yr old daughter loved this, has already watched it at least 5 times. It was great entertainment.

Hairspray is both an exciting and an educational film to watch. Not only does it contain many great songs and dance moves, but it also effectively reflects the times of the mid 20th century where racial discrimination and segregation was a matter which largely dominated society in America. This film is very entertaining to watch and is great for both young kids and also older teens and adults. With movie stars such as Queen Latifah and Zac Efron starring in the film, the film is definitely a hit and it's no surprise that Hairspray was acknowleged as “one of the best movies in the year”.
