Author Biography:

MALEAH KING is the Program Coordinator for Behavioral Health and Wellness at WVU Medicine. She is a West Virginia University(WVU) graduate with a degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Communications. She was a first grade teacher for a year before a career change to healthcare administration. Maleah oversees a program that provides stress management & counseling services for Health Science students on WVU's campus. She enjoys spending time with her son, volunteer work - which mostly includes pet therapy visits with Gus, and anything that involves being outdoors. PAUL ROSEN, MD is a professor of pediatrics at West Virginia University and the first pediatric rheumatologist in the history of the State of West Virginia. Dr. Rosen was named "One of the First 100 Innovators" by the U.S. Federal Government Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ). He was named a thought leader in patient engagement by NEJM Catalyst. He is a three time TEDx speaker and has appeared on Sirius XM on the Business of Health Care show. He holds a Masters of Public Health degree from Harvard University and a Masters of Medical Management degree from Carnegie Mellon University. He enjoys walking his two flat coat retrievers on the nature trails of Delaware. GUS ROSEN is a high school freshman and aspiring artist/architect. Gus enjoys playing ice hockey. He serves his community by coaching youth hockey. He helped raise over $27,000 for the B+ childhood cancer foundation. He enjoys playing with his two flat coat retrievers.
