Author Biography

Anthony Browne was awarded the highest international accolade for children's book illustration, the Hans Christian Andersen Medal, in 2000. He has also won the Kate Greenaway Medal (twice) and the Kurt Maschler Award (three times). His distinctive work, known the world over, includes Into the Forest (9781844285594), Silly Billy (9780744570175) and the popular series about Willy the chimp. He lives with his family in Kent.
