Multi-Purpose Desk (Wood Grain Finish) reviews

I had some issues with alignment when I was following the instructions, but managed to sort it out by ignoring the instructions and attaching the long bits to the desk first, then adding the legs. It made it slightly harder to bolt the legs in but was much easier to get the alignment right with the holes in the desktop. Seems to be a pretty good, sturdy desk so far!

I got this desk as I needed something for working at home. I'm really happy with it, it's sturdy, looks good and is sized well for comfort. As someone else mentioned there is a slight alignment issue and my partner couldn't get one of the bolts in when assembling it, but other than that it's fine.

Bought during lockdown as a stopgap solution but will probably become a permanent desk. Pleasantly surprised at how sturdy the steel frame and top of the desk is. Wish there was a 1400 version.

I ordered the desk, and I received the package in the morning. Unfortunately, during unpacking, I discovered one of the joints on the leg was completely rusted. Roughly 5 square cm with the paint flaking off. The other leg showed signs of rust as well, just not nearly as severe. The desk itself is good, but the rust issue has definitely soured my view of this product.

Decent sturdy desk, some self screwing screws predrilled holes are out by 20mm, easy to fix though. Easy to assemble (30 mins at most) with right tools. (Phillips screwdriver req)

As with all mass production items, sometimes things don't line up too well when assembling, but glad I persevered. A well-priced desk that looks chic and feels sturdy and stable, and of course, shipped quickly and hassle-free by the wonderful team at Mighty Ape.

Once assembled this appears to be a strong and stable desk. However, during assembly I assembled the frame first and found the screw holes for the desk top didn't align. I then untightened the bolts in the frame and it was still not possible to align the screw holes. In the end I had to drill new holes. It shouldn't be necessary to own a small drill to assemble a home office desk. Other than that, this is good desk at a reasonable price.

Extremely happy with this product and how well built and sturdy it is for the price.

Top desk for the money, nice and sturdy and looks better than the price suggests. Slight issues with putting it together due to mis-alignment and have had to go without a couple of bolts fitted, but feels sturdy still. Recommended.

Awesome sturdy desk, got it for my home office and don't regret it. Mounting the desk to the frame did require a magnetized drill bit
