This keyboard is seriously top notch. The quality of the keys are legit; there are 2 USB passthroughs; there is an insane amount of RGB customisation just from the keyboard itself (no extra software); and the keys are switchable too. If you're looking for a good quality yet still cheap mechanical keyboard you won't go wrong with Mightyape's Gorilla Gaming Keyboard! I'm seriously impressed with the quality of this thing and can't recommend it more. Remember though, this is a blue switch keyboard so it is loud as hell. If you need to be mindful of your noise DO NOT get these. Otherwise go right ahead!

I never leave reviews for anything but I must say, i'm very impressed with this piece of equipment. The customization is unreal and the RGB on it is amazing. Best keyboard I have ever done. Shout out to the boys at mighty ape keep this sh*t coming.
I normally don't do reviews but in this case I feel I have to this keyboard is on par if not better than logitech, corsair, etc if not better full rgb full anti ghosting macro etc mx blue full mechanical switches solid metal construction palm rest and not 1 usb pass through but 2 omg I could go on and on trust me ive had few over $200 keyboards I brought this one after my Logitech G512 Carbon Tactile got stolen this $88 keyboard is better than it don't be fooled because its not well known brand this is an awesome keyboard
I have ordered a lot of items from Mightape and all of them I am very satisfied, including this keyboard, beautiful RGB lighting, everything is perfect. Express delivery in 1 day or earlier
I love the design of this keyboard and the usb ports are a great addition, but I've had 2 now that have had critical gaming keys fail within a couple of months of use. Mighty Ape was great at replacing the first one and I thought it might just have been a dud but with the second one doing the same thing I wouldn't spend money on this keyboard again. Shame really because I really loved it.
So after many products in the past directly from retailers own production line I have never been so impressed, this keyboard is heavy and is not made with cheap plastics, chroma is amazing and the keys make an awesome sound, for $99 this is worth 100 times over. Will update in 2 months.
I just got this keyboard and I agree with all the other reviews. It's super loud but that's a plus for me, and the lighting totally makes me 512% better at gaming. It feels amazing to type on too, and has lots of custom keys. The packaging itself is also very high quality. The package was left out in the rain (not by fault of the courier) but there were like 3 boxes and a few layers of plastic, which saved it from the sky. Also ships with a bubblewrap-like thing which is fun to pop.
I don't normally do reviews but I got to say this keyboard is a great starting point for someone getting into gaming. It's affordable and the palm rest is actually comfortable compared to other entry level gaming keyboards. Simple to use, plug and play. The rgb's are nice and not overbearing. The keys are very clicky clicky. It's had a workout this weekend and I don't regret picking this over the others I looked at. Great buy .
Keys get stuck very quickly on it so suddenly you can't type properly or my spacebar got stuck so its keeps goin and going with little to no input had to snap it in half to be able to use it.
You can't go wrong at this price. It's well constructed and the buttons feel good to press although quite loud. My only qualms with the keyboard is the keycap lettering isn't the highest quality and when some of the buttons are pressed, notably space, it makes a reverb sound with the metal below which does bug me when I'm typing.
Great product keys are noisy

The USB passthrough is a life-saver, as I frequently use my laptop as a desktop replacement. Instead of having to unplug 4 different cables, I only have to plug in the keyboard and monitor.
Edit: after over a year, the left CTRL key is beginning to give out and I have to use more force to press it. Still impressed with how high-quality it is for the price, but I've noticed other reviews also mention keys not registering.
Nice metal case. Sturdy weight. Clackity mechanical. Usb hub built-in very handy. Fast delivery by Mighty Ape. 5 star
This keyboard is awesome value for money love it
This keyboard is great; it's my favourite of all the ones I've had so far! A word of warning: it is pretty loud, so it's not going to endear you to your flatmates. But the lights are cool, the keys are easily read, and it's lovely to type with :D
My first gaming keyboard, can't fault this!
I've had this keyboard for about 6 months now. Everything about it is excellent, great quality, responsive etc. Only thing to note is that it is LOUD, every click will be heard. Other than that, you would be hard pressed to find a better keyboard.
The font on the keyboard is square and some letters are hard to find at first. I've been on this keyboard for about an hour now but I still have to seek and find some letters. I'm not a touch typist but have been using keyboards for over 20 years. I'm an older woman (63) and I found the instruction leaflet almost impossible to read. Today with daylight, my glasses, and a magnifying glass with a light on, I could make out most of the instructions. OTOH I adore the feel of the keys. Can't wait to try gaming on it. I would like the back lifts on the board to go up one more slot, I like my boards slightly tilted. I would also prefer that the wrist support were removable. I do like the rubber stands and immovability of the board. I will review again if anything changes. Very pretty colours.
The images on the website show a euro layout when the keyboard is US layout. I suspect it's design mockups being used in actual marketing, because the packaging itself has the correct keyboard on display. Also, switches are GX Blues, not MX blues, according to the box.
The keyboard is well built and feels sturdy. However, it is advertised as Cherry MX/GX Blue switches. I contacted Mighty ape and they confirmed the brand to be legit Cherry MX. After removing the keycap I saw the switches are branded Outemu which is a cheaper Cherry knock off. I have a cheap $50 mech keyboard which uses these exact switches. I am very disappointed as I have been wrongly informed and will be seeking a refund. Update the description to Outemu blues
Horrible keyboard, Bought this on the 2nd of February. Only now has it fully died and had to buy a new replacement. Sure there are some pros with these keyboard, Looks nice, sounds nice, types nicely. Its the Durability of this thing that ruins the product. Good for cheap but do be in mind this thing does not last long.
Clickity clack, this keyboard is awesome to type on :)
Great build quality, rgb is awesome and keys make a lovely clicky sound, what more could you want-!
Already knowing someone that had this keyboard I knew it would be a good buy, but once I got my hands on my own one I was even more impressed.
The build quality feels incredible (especially for the price). I've tried similar mechanical keyboards for the price, but none felt as good as this one, and none had the duel USB pass through.
Apparently the switches are MX Blue, which if true is a pretty big deal at this price as far as I can tell, and they feel incredible, they're so fun to type and game on, and although a little noisy I really enjoy the tactile feel and sound.
I'm not really worried about things like RGB but the RGB on this keyboard really is quite a lot of fun, and is very customisable, with about 18 different preset (I think that's right) and a mode where you can customise the colour of each individual key if that's your thing. The RGB seems to be entirely controlled by the keyboard, which although it may limit the options available I would think it's platform independent, although I have yet to test it on anything but Windows, I will update my review when I find out.
Have had this a week – comfortable to use, keys lit for use in the dark – great value at the low price point
Bought this after reading the enticing reviews, I'm now typing on my new keyboard and totally second what others are saying in terms of value and quality. After using membrane keyboards most of my life, now with covid I live alone so the noise is no issue. It is really loud but the tactile and noise feedback makes typing fun. I've never used a type writer but this must be what they feel like! I can see why so many people are die hard converts now :)
Ive been browsing different keyboards for a while now and this one ticks of everything I wanted for the price nice and clicky and lots of pretty rgb to choose from bought it one morning and it was there the next when I woke up lol no regrets :)
Very good value for the money. Great build quality and customizable LEDs. No special drivers required for Windows, works the moment it's connected. Keys are satisfyingly clicky and while the keys are plastic, the plate they sit on is metal so it feels quite solid and satisfying to type. If you type hard, sometimes you may hear the keys hit the metal and create a bit of a ringing sound, which might be annoying to some. Also the clicky sounds from typing is far from subtle, so this is a surefire way to piss off your coworkers.
Seriously buy this keyboard, its just amazing for $99. Feels great, looks good, super stable and has all the awesome features you expect from a keyboard 2–3× the price. Only downsides are the slightly lower quality key caps (easy to change if you want to), lack of other switch options and slightly dimmer RGB which actually suits me fine. So as long as your neighbours can put up with blue switches you are onto a winner. Buying a second one now for work!
This keyboard justified it's own review, I was lucky enough to win this through one of mightyape games facebook promos, I have been using it for almost a week as my daily driver KB at work, have swapped it with my old razer stealth to give it a whirl. I haven't had any complaints from my colleagues yet but the only thing you could fault it on, is it is a clicky keyboard, so those who enjoy quiet might want earmuff, and the wrist rest isn't detachable, but I don't mind as I was wanting a rest (so if you have compact deskroom maybe this isn't the one for you). But the software, onboard controls, feel, build quality. Is all exceptional. If I had of purchased this I would be extremely happy with it as it punches well above it's price tag. I have even recommended it to a couple friends already. I don't know what else to say, I have been using my mouse through the Keyboard to try out the pass-through ports, no issues. Keyboard spacing is nice, haven't had any abnormal mistypes. The Mechanical switch has side supports which significantly reduce wobble compared to the normal + shaped ones. All in all, only have good things to say. NB: This review was typed on this keyboard
This keyboard feels quality and sturdy and the palm/wrist rest feels nice, I would say to be careful because the custom gorilla gaming switches are very. Very loud. Other than that would recommend, the click is very satisfying as I type this :)
Very happy with this keyboard, So many different LED colour options with ability to light up certain keys that you only want shining, Wristpad could do with being a bit longer and higher to actually support wrist but overall an excellent keyboard, keys are very noisy like a typewriter, louder than my last mechanical keyboard however this is how I like it.
Super fun to type with and incredibly accurate compared to my last non mechanical keyboard. Messing with the lighting options is also fun. The USB pass through is also very useful. Seems like an incredible buy for the price
All the lighting modes are good, brightness is great. Key feeling is amazing very satisfied couldn't be happier for the price!
The switches are great and stable the metal frame is aswome to have and it adds to the sturdiness the one slight probably I have is the rgb there isn't a program for it and its not as bright as something like a razor or Logitech keyboard but that's fine because the price was great
Wouldn't normally write reviews but felt I needed to for this one. Outrageously good value, compared to other options which can be $2–3 hundred, for $99 this provides everything you could ask for. Has a super sturdy feel to it and the keys are awesome. Would recommend to anyone!
I've had this keyboard slightly over a month now and one of the keys locks itself into the pressed position until the keycap is removed and the switch is messed with directly. I expected better than this for the price.
Edit: After this review I was shipped a new one and so far it's been working fine. Hopefully it continues to.
The keyboard looks Amazing, It's mechanical so it's a bit loud, wouldn't recommend if you share a room. When I first plugged it into my PC it crashed, And now my pc wont start up unless the keyboard is unplugged, Keyboard and PC work if plugged into PC while turned on. Could be a hardware issue on my side. So I will rate it fairly.
This keyboard overall is amazing. My only issue is that the switches aren’t my personal preference in sound but it feels amazing to type on otherwise. If you don’t wanna spend too much money on a good mechanical keyboard and love being evil with your loud mechanical keyboards, I highly recommend this product.
Love the keyboard but it's super loud clicking.
A nice and weirdly cheap mech, has everything you need aside from macro keys (which done right would make this a top tier kb), certain users may also benefit from aux passthroughs though for my purposes I use an external scarlett mixer so I can't really judge that.
One of the nicer boards I have owned and far cheaper than anything I have owned that has been comparable. I may be the weirdo but I would pay a lil more to have it be wider and have macro keys but I can't claim to be a majority user.
I was initially quite impressed by the apparent quality of this keyboard for its price but after a few months of use, many keys become unresponsive and require considerable force to register inputs. Clearly the longevity of this item's usability was sacrificed as a cost cutting measure.
