I originally bought one of these chairs back in 2017 and loved it, I have back problems and its one of the few chairs I can sit in for long periods of time without aggravation to my back. So this year (2020) I needed a second chair for another room and decided to buy one of these again, the new model however is quite smaller and not as comfortable. The head rest only comes up to the base of my neck (I'm only about 5'5) its narrower as the arm rests are 2 inches closer together (Yes, I measured) the back is a bit too straight for my liking and my back (the old one had a slight tilt to the backrest and more curve giving more support) Compared to the older model, the new one I found to be rather disappointing. The old one gets 5 stars, this new one however, does not.
Good price for a good product. Very comfortable. I'm 6'2 130kgs and fits me perfect!
The chair is good quality, very easy to set up and very comfy. Thanks Mightyape !
Great chair for the price
This chair is super comfortable and I can sit on it for hours at a time. However, the construction of the chair out of the box took me almost 2 hours. The seat base lever mechanism's holes did not line up with those on the seat. I was convinced this was a faulty chair. I lined up the plate with where the holes should have been and poked holes into the fabric. The holes were actually there under the fabric! The arms also took 30 mins per arm to screw in as the holes were not properly aligned. Overall, a good chair aside from the poor construction.
Nice sturdy chair. Easy enough to assemble. I don't think its an (8 hr chair) as described. Was expecting a more comfortable chair. Have added a memory foam cushion to it. Maybe it's just my body getting too old.
We bought this chair for our 8 year old and have had it for 2 years now. The seams have come apart on the seat, the cushioning has worn down completely, the material on the arm rest have pulled away. These chairs look and feel amazing when you first buy them but they don't last.
Bought Mightyape's older version of this chair and it was a really good deal, cheap and comfortable but the thing fell apart after a few years; Naturally I figured I'd just grab another when that happened. The new one is noticably less comfortable than the older one and I can actually feel tension in my spine after sitting on it for some time. The metal that connects the back-rest and the base now has a sharp angular bend to it instead of a smoothed out much more reclined bend that the older chair has. The backrest of the chair is also slightly lower than the original. Here is an imgur album comparing the differences between the two models https://imgur.com/a/lhUcazR
The chair is obviously made out of cheap material for the price as expected but still has some value in it
Great chair easy to put together. Just a little bit annoying as the headrest only comes up to my shoulders and the back is quite short, im no that tall 6 foot..
Took me just over 30mins to put the chair together with someone holding it steady while I screw the arms in as they were way out of alignment, had half the washers missing and came with some scrapes on the arms and seat out of the box. Its fairly comfy but don't know if I'd make it to 8 hours and stitching looks fairly good.
Brought expecting a high quality chair. When I received it one of the holes was on an angle making it hard to put together. Once all assembled the chair is on a slight lean. Definitely expected better for the price paid.
Purchased almost 3 years ago, shortly after purchase the attachment for the arms snapped off so for the majority of use of this chair I have no had arms on it. The seat has tilted over time which has wreaked havoc on my back and within the span of only 4 weeks, three of the five legs have completely snapped off. You get what you pay for, it's a cheap price, for cheap quality. Save yourself the trouble and get a better chair.
It’s a great chair and a way better upgrade from what I had. Worth getting if you just want a simple but sturdy gaming chair.
Shipping took 9 days. Box was in terrible condition. Instructions for putting together were torn to pieces. Some parts of the chair were a bit chipped too, not ideal but the overall function is fine.
Great chair however, satisfied with quality for the price. Sort of confusing to put together but that's par for the course.
Would rate 4 stars if the shipping went ok. Buy at your own discretion.
Very comfortable seat, looks awesome and easy to assemble . But it’s let down by the ugly wood screws supplied to secure the soft pads to the armrests. The front ones are to big and stick out a bit
I rather switch to a chair I got for $15 from k mart because this chair's lower back support is literally non existent. I don't understand why the lower back caves inwards, it's so bad for the back. Nice quality materials and everything but comfort is top priority.
It is a great chair really comfy good arm rest and really good for the price
Seems I received the minority percentage, the back was damaged in transit, after assembly (which went well) and enjoying the first sit, the seat portion broke across the center of the seat and therefor me ending up on the floor with slightly hurt pride. Still looking forward to the replacement as the reviews before me, describe a different experience.
The pump in the stand bearly last 2 years. Id expect better for the price
Arm rests took a while to get on, but overall pretty good
