"Beautiful book"
4 stars"
Purchased on Mighty Ape

Such a beautiful book, tons of really great tips on filleting, de-shelling etc. My only criticism is that there aren't photographs of all the recipes, opting to go for images of raw seafood, fishing boats, etc. But otherwise made the perfect gift for mum.

"Choice Bro!" Purchased on Mighty Ape

This cook book was everything I hoped it to be. The recipes are those that you can actually imagine making yet still different enough to excite, & the photography is beautiful! It's also perfect for a gift too as its very well presented.

"Best fish cookery book I have ever seen"

A really good book full of tasty recipes and reusable techniques. Al Brown includes some advice in substituting different species for similar effect which is good as I am using a New Zealand book in Australia. Looking forward to Mr Brown's BBQ book.

I don't fish, won't fish, but LOVE this book. From the cover, that doubles as a poster, to the cellophane fish palmreader trip back to the 70s, this book delivers excellent layout, and the content is all you could hope for from down-home/bach cooking to sophisticated fine dining one comes to expect from the kitchen side of Logan Brown. Al richly deserves all the praise he's getting for this publication.
