Author Biography:

Kathleen Whitmer is a retired professor of art, Kent State University. As a cancer and heart transplant survivor, she is now a participant of a clinical study at The National Institutes of Health and a cancer advocate and speaker. She is also a well-known and widely exhibited oil painter.
