Futuretronics PS2 to PS3 Controller Converter reviews

To those who read the review below, you are not supposed to use these for Arcade Fighting Sticks and the like, Stop being a cheapskate a buy a PS3 one.

These are only designed for you to be able to use the Dualshock 1 and 2 as well as simple PSX/PS2 game specific controllers (Dance mats for example) These are mainly for people who don't want to cough up $100 for a SIXAXIS or Dualshock 3.

So, a word of advice to all like the person below, take into consideration what the hardware is actually designed for.

Anyway, a good piece of hardware if you're using it for its intended purpose

I have had two of these from local stores and neither of them worked at all. a waste of time. The concept is great – particularly if your a fan of fighting games and (like me) hate using the sixaxis. Its just a shame that they dont deliver on a (seemingly) simple promise. Avoid.

This item was a good purchase by me.

It works well for those that don't want to buy a seperate controller for their ps3 if they are still holding onto their ps2 and its controllers.

Only problem is that the lights on top don't work properly… Otherwise the converter works perfectly fine if you don't mind that flaw.

Great way to get another reliable controller that you know will work for a cheap price. Unlike some ps3 knock offs that are no longer able to be used with the ps3.

Works great, only had it going to the PC but works there..no software needer either… cant say if Vibrations would work as PC games iv used it on dont have vibration info to send to the controller.

Why 50 words?? nothing else i can say bout it. Plug and play. no setting up needed.

only used it for Dirt so far as find key board and mouse easyer for any other game!
