Having to stop playing, connect up the controller to the PS3 while it recharges is bad enough without having to move so close to the screen you can see each pixel.
This cable is long enough that you can sit back and recharge while still playing.

This cable is long enough that you can sit back and recharge while still playing. I had bought a corded controller, just so I didn't have to keep getting up to recharge my controller. Moving so close to the screen could see each pixel… But now, don't need that. Just plug this in, sit back an play. Unplugging when its charged.

It does happen to cut out every now and then, leaving the Playstation to think it's still connected, the controller thinking it's connected but it actually isn't, the link being broken. This is rather frustrating if your playing a FPS such as Black Ops >:[ Apart from that, it's great.
This works really well, no need to sit close to the tv just so you can charge your controller while playing.

Great to be able to sit back and continue to play your game instead of having to sit right up at the screen. Beyond me why PS dont just give you one of these when you buy a wireless control. Cheapest I could find this cord was on Mighty Ape. Thanks guys :)
This is good t have when you cant stop your game so you can charge your controls since both are flat and it sure beats sitting close to the TV on the ground waiting for it to charge. 3M will reach to the chair â€" it’s a must have!
