"Really enjoyed it!!"

This is a classic “hack ‘n’ slash” type adventure. There is little in the way of interactions between the characters, and/or NPC's, other than what the programmers have allowed. The story-line is also a little thin.

There is great animation, and effects throughout the 10 chapters. During which time, as is usual, the “enemies” become harder to beat – and require changing from one of the three characters to another – and thinking a bit “outside the square” to beat them, and progress onwards.

The biggest gripe about this game is the lack of ability to save the game. There are specific “save” points – but it is frustrating to have to go through the same stuff time after time, just because a character gets killed beofe a save point. (And there are plenty of areas where this will happen!!)

Ensure you check for & download the latest patch to prevent problems – follow the link from: http://www.gamebanshee.com/…ownloads.php

Overall – I spent many hours of enjoyment, at times frustration, but generally enjoyment playing through this game.

Will certainly re-play it again.

The basic idea of this game is to spam attack and kill everything. A few special attacks attempt to make this more enjoyable, but don't really do it for me.

The graphics are poor – I could see pixels in the text and hud. Playing through the game gets you enough exp and gold to get every skill rapidly.

Don't expect a NWN style here – this is a typical H&S game with a fixed camera. One upside is that the movies are dynamic and your characters looks in the clips matches whatever equipment you have.

All in all, this game is good for mindlessly attacking things, but if you are looking for something entertaining, look elsewhere.
