Companie de Fusiliers (GFR701)
Here in 1918 our company has changed from its early-war composition and is well adapted to handle the rigours of trench warfare.
Artillery, trench mortars and guns, and even tanks have been incorporated into the unit in order to go on the offensive and push the Boches out of our homeland. Knowing that the war is nearly over some of our older poilus may be cautious and a bit weary of the fight; however the spirit of our colonial troops is excellent and they are ready to resume the offensive.

1918 saw great changes in the warfare of the Western Front. Russia pulled out of the war, freeing thousands more German troops to push the Allies back huge distances. The Allied counteroffensives, with the new tanks, evolving tactics, and the arrival of the Americans, forced the Germans back towards their own borders and defeat.
