This book concerns matters of faith, and how we benefit from God's gifts of grace to us which we accept by faith. Authentic faith is highly personal and, at the same time, should be shared. Faith matters for everyone. It is part of godly character, not contrived or manufactured. If we want more faith, we must identify what makes faith as believers in Christ and Christ-followers truly authentic and worth the individual life change that must accompany it. Real life change for the better is necessary when authentic faith is desired and present. This faith is described in Hebrews 11:1. From the KJV: "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." Authentic faith is comprised of both hope and evidence ... hope in God's provision and evidence of His faithfulness through all time. You are invited to experience a Breakthrough of faith as one who willingly submits to God without reservation.
Author Biography:
Glen Aubrey believes in creative communication. Indeed whether as a consultant to business, conference speaker, writer, musician, or commercial producer/arranger, his clear task is to communicate truth authentically, without reservation, with integrity. Glen has a passion for people and is an advocate of people development, believing that people are an organization's greatest resource. Because healthy relationships matter most, he believes wholeheartedly in accountable and authentic investment in lives, promoting and actively engaging in service to others within the context of understanding that who people are is more important than what they do. Glen speaks to the heart, and in his own creative ways, challenges his listeners to do all they should do, because of who they are and are becoming. Come prepared to listen and read intently, participate wholeheartedly, be stretched, think creatively, act passionately, and impact lives with renewed and perhaps new commitment. Glen writes, "I enjoy traveling, especially to Gettysburg, Washington, D.C., Europe, and the Middle East. I treasure multi-cultural experiences and am fulfilled when conducting conference center presentations and speaking engagements. Enjoyments in life include walking, bicycle riding, and being with family and close friends; also a fireplace, my dogs, listening to classical music and profound artistic works. I appreciate, compose, and arrange multiple styles of music. I earnestly engage in creatively stimulating conversations on uplifting topics, listening and responding to other people's well-thought-out perspectives. I love to laugh. I thoroughly enjoy good football and baseball games. I am a student and teacher, a follower and leader. Further, "I acknowledge that I have a long way to go in learning what life is all about. I acknowledge that I am willing to work hard to achieve what I believe I am called to do. I also willingly and joyfully acknowledge dependence on God."
