The head is slightly too thick for some sprues – it won't fit at all into smaller gaps the way the Citadel cutter will. Makes cutting out small pieces require different tool.

This is the only cutter on the website that I've found that actually gets into the sprue in its narrowest places and makes a superbly clean cut. This was better than the Army Painter one I bought. Comfortable grip and perfect shape. Cheaper than Games Workshop's al­ternative.

Finally bought these sprue cutters afters years of using my old Telecom sidecutters, and what a difference! These are nice and sharp, and cut so close that most times there is no need to use a blade or sandpaper to remove the excess – there isn't any. Great value.
