She tries hide her true identity whilst in Berlin, but paradoxically gets involved with Thomas, a charismatic radio reporter who is afraid of losing his job at Berlin Radio and is absorbed with the imminent fall of the `Berlin Wall’. In `DELAYED TENDERNESS’ Michael, a computer scientist and a political activist, is haunted by the madness of his mother, a Nazi sympathizer who had abused him. He struggles with his emotional barrier towards women. Can his relationship with a Jewish feminist bring him Delayed Tenderness? In `THE GERMAN LOVER’ Peter, a psychologist and a compulsive charmer, responsible for the suicide of his ex-girlfriend, is desperate to find true feelings through `New Age’ ideas, far eastern philosophies and a new relationship with an artist.
