Description

Empowered for Heaven and Earth is an expositional outline of Paul's Epistle to the Romans. The title demonstrates the results of the imputed righteousness of God which results from trusting in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. When God puts his Righteousness in a person, it empowers them to enter heaven and to live victoriously over the world, and it is imputed the moment one repents and believes. James is currently serving as the Pastor of the Grandview Independent Baptist Church, in Kansas City, Missouri. He has served there for the past twelve Years. He was Minister of Education at Bannister Road Baptist Church for Three Years. He founded and pastored the New Sholar Avenue Baptist Church from 1980 until 1996. He graduated from Tennessee Temple University with a Bachelor of Arts in Bible. He also graduated from Temple Baptist Theological Seminary with a Master of Divinity in Old Testament Theology. James accepted Christ while serving in the Marine Corps in 1976. Six months later, after reading the Bible through and church involvement he surrendered to the call to preach the Gospel. He later married his high school sweet heart and they have been married for Thirty Six years. They have three daughters and seven grandchildren.
