Purchased on Mighty Ape

its not bad, but ist not great either.

there is not a single character model (playable or NPC) in this game that isn't butt ugly.

limited armour classes

graphics are far from “best ever”

storys ok

some things in this game are retarded as, like if you murder some one in their sleep, in pitch black, with no-one else around/leave no witnesses – EVERBODY knows your a murderer and you get a bounty on your head, like EVERY guard in the game is telepathically linked or something, same goes for stealing.

over all it does have many hours of playability and re-playability

but the smaller issues like the one above are really annoying

but hey, thats just my opinion

oh yeah, and the vampires in this game are PATHETIC – DON'T BE ONE

"Best RPG Ever made."
5 stars"

This is one of the BEST RPG's releaseed with the best GRAPHICS released to date. Highly Recommended – About 1000× better than Morrowind PS: Join the Dark Brotherhood :D

Description

This special bundle includes The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion + the expansion pack Elder Scrolls IV: Shivering Isles.

Oblivion

Oblivion is a single-player game that takes place in Tamriel's capital province, Cyrodiil. You are given the task of finding the hidden heir to a throne that sits empty, the previous emperor having been killed by an unknown assassin. With no true Emperor, the gates to Oblivion (the equivalent of hell in the world of Tamriel) open, and demons begin to invade Cyrodiil and attack its people and towns. It's up to you to find the lost heir to the throne and unravel the sinister plot that threatens to destroy all of Tamriel.

In keeping with the Elder Scrolls tradition, players will have the option to experience the main quest at their own pace, and there will be plenty of opportunities to explore the vast world and make your own way. Numerous factions can be joined, such as the thieves or mages guilds, and each contains its own complete storyline and the chance to rise to the head of the faction and reap further rewards.

Oblivion features a groundbreaking new AI system, called Radiant AI, which gives non-player characters (NPCs) the ability to make their own choices based on the world around them. They'll decide where to eat or who to talk to and what they'll say. They'll sleep, go to church, and even steal items, all based on their individual characteristics. Full facial animations and lip-synching, combined with full speech for all dialog, allows NPCs to come to life like never before.

Shivering Isles

The Elder Scrolls IV: Shivering Isles is the official expansion for Oblivion – the 2006 RPG and Game of the Year. It features more than 30 hours of new gameplay as you are sent to explore an entirely new plane of Oblivion – the realm of Sheogorath, the Daedric Prince of Madness. Shivering Isles adds to the existing world of Oblivion, so you can continue playing with your existing save game/character, or create an all new character just to explore the new content in Shivering Isles. New creatures, weapons, armor, ingredients, branching questlines, and more await in the land of Mania and Dementia.

Enter the world of the Madgod – the Realm of Sheogorath. Inside this torn plane reside the sublimely creative and the completely psychotic. Something is happening to the Shivering Isles and Sheogorath himself looks to you to be his champion and defend his realm and its inhabitants from destruction. Do you have the strength to survive his trials, to tame a realm fraught with paranoia and despair, and wear the mantle of a God?
