For a cheaper headset this thing isn't bad overall. Really flimsy thin mic, but the quality of the audio is fine. Delivers sounds just like any other sub $50 headset.
Ear cups are comfy for extended periods, and block out most noise. Can not call this item a standout, or a failure. It is what it is.
It is better than a $2 reject shop headset, that's for sure. Nowhere near as good as a $100+ set however.
Overall, 5/10. They market the headset as having ‘shocking bass’ ( which I take means ‘good’). The bass is the exact same as every other cheaper headset however, so I don't know what they are talking about.
Used audio testing software to check bass levels. 19 or 20hz with some clicking and distortion, is what is obtained.
Overall, you cannot go wrong with this headset, but do not think it has superior bass to another headset, as it simply does not.
It claims to have 50mm drivers which give the bass a nice sound, which although works in theory – really does not deliver in this case in my opinion. I've had sets with 30mm and 40mm drivers, all with better bass than this.
The bass itself is about a 5/10.
Don't buy this headset thinking the bass is great, as it is simply average. With that being said, I am semi happy with the item at the price paid.
Build quality is good for the price. Comes with a USB plug for lights, and two 3.5mm jacks for mic and speakers. USB plug is not needed unless you want lighting on the headset.
This is a 3.5mm phone jack headset, not a USB headset. This will work in any device with a 3.5mm jack.
