"It's good to be bad..so true"
5 stars"

The concept is simple, build your dungeon, set up rooms from lair to casino, attract more demons, create traps then wait for those so call ‘Heroes’ to show up. This game will exercise your inner evil, instead of worrying about how to defence your lair, your primary concern would be how to cook them this time Kill them and raise them as mindless skeleton, capture them and put in the pit for training, or torture them and convert them to your side

And if your minions can't do the job right, you can possess them and change the interface to First person view and do the deed yourself

"One of the best Strategy games ever."
5 stars"
Purchased on Mighty Ape

Even though the game is old, its graphics look similar to strategy games being made presently.

For those wondering if its compatible with windows versions above xp, I have windows 7 pro 64 bit, and it works perfectly fine.

Out of all the hours i spent playing this game, not once has it crashed or encountered and error.

Worth every penny!

"Constant crashing. Game itself is good, though.."
3 stars"
Purchased on Mighty Ape

In a nutshell, this is an excellent game, but crashes all the time.

I bought this game some years ago when i first encountered the problem in Windows XP… then i recently saw this re-released version and assumed it was fixed for Vista (as marked). Alas, the issues remained. I just spent the last few hours searching for a solution with no luck so far.

The game itself is wickedly good; just be aware that you may encounter some technical issues that could prevent you from enjoying this gem.

"some hacking may be necessary ..."
3 stars"
Purchased on Mighty Ape

I don't need to say much more about the game, it's fun in a lighthearted evil sort of way.

I had to do some registry hacking to get the game to run, if you end up with a black screen and nothing but a cursor and an exit button after the intro, you may have to do the same – one of the option settings just doesn't get saved correctly and you have to manually change the registry. I have it working both on XP 32 bit and Win7 64 bit that way now.

Furthermore I'd like to regretfully report that when they dit the ‘update to run on winXP’ fix, they did not bother to introduce any higher resolution modes than the original release. Let me tell you, on a 30" screen the graphics look exceedingly cruddy. What a pity.

All that aside, it's as much fun as a barrel of monkeys.

"Epic. Timeless. Original. Gaming at its best."
5 stars"

Dungeon Keeper 2 is a game that keeps being installed over and over on my PC, in a similar way that Diablo II does. A purchase you will never regret during those gaming marathons where the latest games are simply missing the ‘awesome factor’. The graphics still hold up and are assisted by the style, it's hilarious and has game play mechanics that you've never seen before that are so fun! So if your at home and you've finished that $100 new game in one night and feel kind of bored with it already, boot this game up and lose a week.
